Board certified in Anatomic Pathology and Cytopathology, Dr. David Kindelberger has significant experience in both hospital and independent laboratory facilities, providing a broad range of expertise. Dr. Kindelberger's special areas of interest range from Cytopathology to the applications of molecular, FISH and genotyping technologies to isolated tumor cells. Dr. Kindelberger received both residency and fellowship training at Brigham & Women's Hospital, and subsequently served there as a pathologist and pathology instructor.

The cytology department at ConVerge is led by Julia Elvin, M.D, PhD. In addition to being board certified in Anatomic Pathology, Dr. Elvin completed a specialty Fellowship in Gynecological Pathology at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston. Dr. Elvin has specialty areas of expertise in HPV disease and Infertility and is a frequent guest lecturer in both academic settings and in the broader medical community.
Hematopathologists
ConVerge Diagnostic Services works with a team of five pathologists with sub-specialty fellowship training in hematopathology. Together, they offer expert and comprehensive diagnostic and consultation services for ConVerge clients. All hematological or oncology-related flow cytometry testing is reviewed and signed-out by a member of this team of board-certified Hematopathogists, unless ordered as TC only.
Dermatopathologists
Supplementing our in-house capabilities, ConVerge Diagnostic Services works with a team of two board certified Dermatopathologists, each of whom completed specialty training via the Harvard Combined Dermatopathology Fellowship program (Brigham & Women's Hospital, Beth Israel Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital). They now specialize in providing expert second opinion consultations to facilities like ConVerge.
