Dr. Kindelberger joined ConVerge in a full-time Pathology role in 2011, after having spent nearly 10 years at Brigham and Women's Hospital, beginning with his Residency in Anatomic Pathology in 2002. He next completed two clinical sub-specialty Fellowships: one in Cytopathology under the direction of Dr. Edmund Cibas, and the other in Women's and Perinatal Pathology under the direction of Dr. Christopher Crum. On completion of his training, Dr Kindelberger was appointed to the B & W's staff, serving in multiple roles, including Pathologist and Instructor in Pathology for Harvard Medical School.

His recent research is related to circulating tumor cells in patients with metastatic cancers of the prostate, lung and breast. Recently, Dr Kindelberger served as Founding Director of the Brigham & Women's Circulating Tumor Cell Core Facility.

He has published significantly in the areas of gynecologic pathology, specifically ovarian carcinogenesis and trophoblastic disease pathology, with over 40 credited publications since 2003. Dr. Kindelberger received the Pier Paci Award for Excellence in Pathology Teaching in 2010, a testament to his willingness and ability to share his knowledge and expertise and colleagues to his students in the Harvard Medical School community.
