Brian K. DuChateau serves
as Vice President-Laboratory Operations,
and COO of ConVerge Diagnostic's FMDx
and CRDx business units. Dr. DuChateau
has extensive experience in molecular
diagnostics and diagnostic flow cytometry
and is nationally recognized for assay
development in these areas.
Previously, Dr. DuChateau was Director
of Product Development for the Diagnostic
Laboratories at the Blood Center of Wisconsin
from 2003-2006. Dr. DuChateau also served
as Technical Director for LabCorp's New
England Operations from 2002-2003 and
Assistant Laboratory Director for Path
Lab Inc., Portsmouth, NH from 1999-2002.
Dr. DuChateau is Chair of the American
Society for Microbiology, Division V (Clinical
and Diagnostic Immunology), Steering Committee
Member of the Great Lakes International
Imaging and Flow Cytometry Association
and holds memberships in many professional
organizations, including the American
Society of Hematology and Association
of Medical Laboratory Immunologists. Dr.
DuChateau has published over 25 scientific
papers in peer-reviewed journals. He is
a diplomat of the American Board of Medical
Laboratory Immunologists.
Dr. DuChateau received his Ph.D. from
the University of Wisconsin, Department
of Bacteriology/Medical Microbiology and
Immunology in 1997, and served as a clinical
immunology resident at The Chicago Medical
School from 1997-1999.
