ConVerge is local and, whenever possible, so are our reference laboratories. We test throughout the day, completing our testing by midnight, which enables us to call you with critical results earlier. Your patients' specimen doesn't travel outside the region, which creates a quicker overall turnaround time. We provide STAT and same-day testing. Together, these things enable you to work more efficiently and to provide better care for your patients.
ConVerge offers a choice of reporting options, on paper and via electronic interfaces. Our goal is to deliver results to you in the format that you choose, via the mechanism that best suits your needs and workflow. In addition to these broad choices in "traditional lab reporting," ConVerge also offers options to simplify communications with your patients about their lab results, including our Pap Hotline and our unique patient letters.

The ConVerge IT staff has extensive experience interfacing to client systems and Electronic Medical Records (EMRs). Our state-of the-art interface engine allows us to complete development projects for our clients rapidly and accurately.

ConVerge Diagnostic Services is a contracted, participating network provider for virtually all of the insurance plans operating in the areas we serve. Our Billing Department will bill directly to each patient's insurance carrier or direct-bill your account, based on your instructions.

As a provider, employer and consumer, ConVerge is very conscious of the recent spiral in healthcare costs. We also recognize that patients have increasing responsibility for "out of pocket" medical expenses, due to deductibles, co-payments and coverage policies. These "out-of-pocket" expenses often relate to charges for laboratory tests.
In order to keep patient costs reasonable, ConVerge offers lower fees than other laboratories and hospitals in New England.
