CAH's Mission Statement:

Every family deserves a place to call home; to have shelter from the weather, to heal when they are sick, to share meals, continuity adnd a place to grow and flourish. 

For 25 years, Citizens for Adequate Housing, Inc.  has worked toward ending homelessness, providing a temporary home for homeless families and permanent affordable housing to low income families. 

Their mission calls for them to support families with dignity and respect, as they live in their emergency shelter, the "Inn Between" or in their sober living transitional housing shelter, the "Inn Transition", as well as in one of their affgordable housing apartments offered tghrough Communities Land Trust.

CAH focuses no family stabilization, the restoration of hope and dignity to each family, fostering self sufficiency through advocacy, education, life sills training, permanent housing and the hope of a life without homelessness.
