GYN cytology service offerings include:
- ThinPrep Pap tests
- ThinPrep Pap tests with imaging
- SurePath Pap tests
- Conventional Pap smears
Adjunct testing performed at ConVerge and available with either ThinPrep or SurePath Pap tests include:
- High-risk HPV DNA screen
- HPV 16/18 genotyping
- Chlamydia trachomatis – amplified technology
- Neisseiria gonorrhoeae – amplified technology
When ordered in conjunction with a Pap test, all HPV, Chlamydia and GC results are conveniently integrated into the same clear clinical report
Quality Patient Care
All previous Cytology and Biopsy results are included on the current laboratory result report.
Non-GYN cytology service offerings include:

- Fluid cytology
- Fine needle aspirates (FNA)
- Non-GYN cytology slide prep
All Non-GYN samples are evaluated by a Brigham and Women's Fellowship trained ConVerge Diagnostic Services Pathologist. Turnaround time for non-GYN specimens is 24 hours.
