As one of the most experienced independent histology labs in New England, ConVerge processes more than 60,000 patient cases annually. ConVerge histotechnologists are experienced at handling tissues from private practices, clinics and hospitals. In addition to tissue processing and slide preparation, ConVerge offers an extensive menu of stains, ranging from traditional H & E stains to more than 100 special Immunohistochemical (IHC) stains, in order to meet our clients' comprehensive diagnostic needs.
We understand that quality and turnaround time are equally critical when handling tissue specimens. We have a reputation for providing high-quality, crisp, easy-to-read stains. ConVerge routinely provides 24 hour turnaround time on IHC stains. Because we are local, we can even handle STATs, turning around specimens received in the morning, later the same day they are received. Customized client protocols and IHC panels are available.
Our broad experience and expertise in this area has led five area hospitals to outsource their complete histology service to ConVerge. Other facilities use ConVerge to provide coverage or to handle overflow volume.
