Cytology
Our Cytology services are
an ideal outsource option for your gynecologic
and non-gynecologic cytology testing. The
experienced ConVerge team will process your
testing and work with the pathologist of
your choice for physician review and result
interpretation. We were among the first
in our region to offer thin layer technology
and introduce a Pap imaging system. We have
expanded our capabilities to include HPV
screening to be followed by HPV genotyping.
Our Histology department offers
Technical Component (TC) processing for
community hospitals to support the pathology
department with a broad range of services
and special procedures. We continue to increase
our capacity with state of the art instrumentation
to meet your needs.
Our Anatomic Pathology division
offers you over twenty years of experience
in diagnostic cytology and gynecologic and
non-gynecologic pathology. We provide physicians
with reliable and responsive service, including
Technical Component (TC) processing and
Professional Component (PC) consultation
with a ConVerge pathologist.
Our Clinical Laboratory division
provides you with the core services
you expect while making additional
information available using the advanced
capabilities of Flow Cytometry and
Molecular Diagnostics. With our full-service,
patient-focused approach, we provide
you with a comprehensive report that
integrates information from the entire
patient testing process.
In Flow Cytometry, we
provide technical processing of a variety
of clinical specimens (peripheral blood,
marrow, tissue) and offer professional
component interpretation by one of our
pathologists or in partnership with the
pathologist of your choice.
Our Molecular Diagnostics
department is staffed and supported
by advanced degreed Immunologists,
Microbiologists, and Molecular Biologists.
These experts work in conjunction
with our contract research organization
to evaluate the latest diagnostic
procedures before they are introduced
into our clinical testing facility.
