ConVerge is unlike any other local, regional or national lab. It started when laboratory professionals saw the opportunity to create something better—namely a laboratory focused on individualized service with state-of-the-art technology, and experienced laboratory professionals recognized throughout New England as industry leaders. This combination resulted in ConVerge, a local, New England-based diagnostic laboratory created specifically to satisfy the high standards physicians, hospitals and patients throughout New England.

Better efficiency

Many associate efficiency with lower cost. At ConVerge we associate it with better service to our clients and their patients. ConVerge's approach enables your office or hospital to operate more effectively and provides timely information to help you and your patient when considering treatment options.

One example is flow cytometry. Many large labs routinely perform as many as 50 markers when doing cancer studies. Several local experts agree that 50 markers is excessive and rarely required. At ConVerge, we start with 18 basic markers, allowing our Hematopathologist to then specify additional markers as needed. This provides the same high-quality result without unnecessary testing and expense to patients.

ConVerge is also conscious of healthcare costs, especially when patients may be paying higher out of pocket expenses due to increasing deductibles and co-payments. With that in mind, ConVerge Diagnostic Services chose to make its patient fee schedule the lowest in New England!
